Ayman left Kocaeli
Date: 30-5-2002
Wrote: Goksel Goksoy (Turkey) EXCLUSIVELY for EP

As EP reported few weeks ago, Ayman's financial problems with Kocaelispor continued as Kocaeli failed to pay Ayman 115.000 $ while Malatyaspor offered the player 350.000 $ for one season. Ayman decided to accept Malatyaspor's offer and as a result he won't play UEFA cup next season as Malatyspor is one of the bottom teams in the Turkish league.

Details:

Egyptian international midfielder and Kocaelispor player Ayman Abdel Aziz is about to leave Kocaeli and join Malatyaspor. Zizo couldn't reach an agreement with Kocaeli officials yet and decided to leave. Four Turkish clubs were interested, Ankaragucu, Bursaspor, Gencleberligi and most recently Malatyaspor.

EgyptianPlayers.com Turkish reporter Goksel Goksoy didn't call Ayman yet but he made a phone call with Hikmet Karaman (Kocaelispor coach) who said:

"Yes, we have lost Ayman to Malatyspor. He asked us to pay him 115.000 $ but we couldn't. Malaya had the cash to pay him and unfortunately he left us".

Malatyaspor is one of the bottom teams in the Turkish league, and they fight against relegation each season. So, Ayman's decision may not be the most wise decision as Kocaeli will play UEFA cup next season and they ended the league in much better standing.

EP will bring you transfer details and the reasons beyond Ayman's decision as the story unfolds...
