As EP
reported earlier, Ayman Abdel Aziz's Konyaspor needed
a win in their home clash with Kocaelispor. They managed
to achieve their goal as they scored an early goal in
the 2nd minute and added the 2nd ten minutes before
the final whistle. With this important home win, Ayman's
side increased their chances of staying in the Turkish
Super League next season.
Ayman AbdelAziz played today for his team
Konyaspor against another relegation contender Kocaelispor.
Ayman started today's game as usual and played a full
match. He helped his side achieve a 2-0 victory over
Kocaelispor, however he received a yellow card in 39th
minute.
Konyaspor couldn't win any of the past three matches
and so, this match was a must win. "The upcoming
match against Kocaeli is very important, it is much
like a cup final for us and we have to win" Ayman
told the press before the match.
Konyaspor took the lead just after two minutes of kick-off
through Serhat Akyüz while Kratochvil scored the
2nd in the 80th minute from a penalty kick.
On the other hand, El-Saka's Eskisehirspor lost their away
game against Denizilispor 2-3. El-Saka wasn't included in
today's squad due to suspension.
With today's results Konyaspor became 13th in the table with
35 points while Eskisehirspor dropped to the 15th spot with
the same points of Istanbul B.B. This means that El Saka's
side will have to improve their results in the remaining matches
to avoid relegation.
