Sayed Moawad, who arrived in Turkey a couple of days ago, stated at the press conference in which he was presented to the fans and press that he is determined to succeed with Trabzonspor.

When asked why while Egypt have so many talented players, there are only a few in Europe, the Egyptian replied by saying:

"The problem is that clubs in Egypt ask for too much money from European clubs but I expect many Egyptians to play in Europe next season especially after the African Cup of Nations in Ghana".

When asked why he preferred to play in Turkey, particularly Trabzon, he said:

"The Turkish league is stronger than the Egyptian league. As for Trabzon, I knew from Ayman that Trabzon is one of the top four clubs in Turkey and so, I didn't hesitate to come here".

"I came here to succeed and impress my new manager Ersun Yanal, I will do my best in the remaining half of season and I hope to sign a new contract with Trabzon in summer". "My goal is to sign permanently for Trabzon and not just play a few months here then go back home". He added.

Egyptian player at Trabzon Ayman Abdel Aziz added that Moawad is a consistent performer and he feels that he will be successful in Turkey.

In addition to this, Ersun Yanal revealed that he will give Moawad the chance to play this weekend as he has shortage in the left flank and the club is in dire need for left sided player.

It should be noted that Trabzon will play on Sunday afternoon against Ibrahim Said's Ankaragucu.
