Egyptian midfielder Ayman Abdelaziz had to leave the
pitch in the 57th minute of Trabzon's Cup clash with
Demirspor which ended in a 1-0 defeat for the Egyptian's
side. Ayman suffered an injury and had to be transferred
to hospital immediately but fortunately, he left hopsital
after receiving treatment.
Egyptians in Turkey Ayman Abdelaziz and
Abdel Zaer El Saka participated with their clubs Trabzonspor
and Genclerbirligi this week in the Turkye Kupasi (Turkish
Cup).
Both Trabzon and Gencler are playing in
the same group (B) which also include Demirspor, Manisaspor
and Kirikkalespor.
Both of Genclerbirligi and Trabzon played
two matches so far, El Saka's Gencler achieved win in
both matches and are currently leading their grop with
6 points. On the other hand, Ayman's Trabzon won the
first match but lost on Wednesday to Demirspor by a
single goal which put them 3rd in the group.
It is worth mentioning that the top two
clubs in each group advance to the Turkish cup quarter
finals and so, Gencler is now closer to advance to the
knock out stages than Ayman's side.
Both Egyptians participated in the first match and both
appeared in a good shape. In today's matches, Ayman played
from the start but he had to leave the field injured in the
57th minute after suffering a facial injury. The Egyptian
had to be carried quickly to hospital and returned home after
receiving medical treatment.
On the other hand, El Saka was rested in today's
0-4 easy win for Gencler against Kirikkalespor.
