Eight foreign based Egyptian players will be called for the Egyptian national team for the upcoming ACN in Ghana 2008. The list didn't include Mido because of injury, Abo Mosallam for the lack of first team football and Ayman Abdel Aziz.

Ayman didn't make it to ACN squad

The Egyptian national team will include eight foreign based players in their trip to Ghana in the coming ACN.

It was expected formerly that Ayman Abdel Aziz will be amongst the squad but the Trabzonspor regular was dropped from selection. As well as this, Ahmed Abou Mosallam also didn't make it to the ACN squad because of lack of first team football with Strasbourg and also Middlesboro's Mido who is suffering froma long term injury.

The eight chosen foregin based players are:

1- Ahmed Hassan (Anderlecht).

2- Mohamed Zidan (HSV).

3- Hossam Ghaly ( Tottenham Hotspur)

4- Mohamed Shawky (Middlesboro).

5- Ibrahim Said (Ankaragucu).

6- Hassan Mostafa (Al Wahda).

7- Ahmed Fathy (Kazma).

8- Wael Gomaa (Al Seleiah).
