In one of the most awaited matches
of the Turkish season, Ayman Abdelaziz's Trabzonspor
failed to do the job against rivals Galatasaray, losing
to a second half strike in a tight encounter.

up for the Egyptian national team, had a good game with
his physical presence, but Gala's attacking midfield
was completely free in the goal situation.
The loss means that Trabzon's hopes of lifting the
Super Lig trophy are somewhat fading, though they could
still recover and go again for the top.
Visitors Gala had the early attacks but couldn't get
the ball on target. Meanwhile, Trabzon had the best
chance as Ibrahim Yattara ran on the right and delivered
a superb cross which Umit Bulut headed just wide. Meanwhile,
Gala looked strong on the counter and forced some decent
goalkeeping.
The Egyptian midfielder received an awkward bouncing
ball in the middle of park and Hassan Sas was quick
to come and intercept the ball from Ayman as he controlled
it. Sas over-ran the ball with his touch though and
it led to him jumping with a high kick into Huseyin's
chest.
The tense atmosphere continued. A Gala through pass
from the right was played, but Ayman, coming at pace,
lunged into the passer after the ball was played. The
chance went on but the referee came back to Ayman to
give him a yellow card.

In the second half, the pressure went to the fans.
Lincoln wasn't able to take a corner as the Trabzon
fans were throwing paper on him, as well as some heavier
objects. It came as a surprise for the fans who have
just returned to the stands after a lengthy ban!
