EgyptianPlayers.com has learnt that
after a long and painful wait, Ayman Abdelaziz has finally
expected to be called up to the Egyptian national team
for the African Cup of Nations 2008.
It is almost confirmed that Ayman will
be with the national team for the big tournament in
Ghana after not being called up for alomst five years.
Ayman has not played for Egypt in either the reign
of Marco Tardelli or Hassan Shehata, last representing
Egypt in April 2003.
Despite his superb performances in Europe, he has been
ignored, partly due to his not returning to complete
his military duty, but taking Turkish citizenship instead.
Ayman has been capped 26 times for Egypt already and should
be a superb addition to the national team.
