Ayman spoke saying: "My position was a normal foul which is within football's rules. I have got not a problem with Pini Balili."

The Egyptian showed his foul on a big screen (pictured) and commented: "As you see, I wanted to win the ball and had no ideas of injuring the opponent.

"I've lived in Turkey for seven years and Balili has been here for five years and we have not been involved in a foul incident until now. If I had a plan to injure him, I could have done it in the past."

Balili stated to the press that Ayman called him and apologised. Press members asked this to Ayman and the Egyptian denied it. Ayman said: "I didn't apologise. I only called him to ask about his health and his foot. He also asked me whether I have an injury or not. That was all."

The Trabzon midfielder commented about his style too. "My football style is tough. I am a challenger. I played hard as I always play. This is my football and I'll never change it."

He ended his meeting by saying: "I dont think that the events will affect my club. We don't have pressure on us. We wanted to win the Sivas match and we had no tension. We want to win all the matches in order to be champions. We played to win and we won. It was 1-0 in 90th minute and I believe that the FA must judge three points to us."

Ayman warned media not to mix politics in football.

Meanwhile, the Israeli player of Sivas, Pini Balili, also made a statement on the club's official website and warned Israeli media to be calm. Balili said that Israeli media exaggerated the foul of the Egyptian too much and showed the match as an Israel-Arab war of revenge. "I warned television channels not to increase the tension and to be calm. It was a foul and I am not happy to receive calls asking about political issues in my football."
