Trabzon's away clash with Otelul Galati
in the Inter-Toto cup 3rd round ended in a 1-2 loss
for Ayman's side.
Stan opened the scoring for the homeside
in the 26th minute and things got even worse for Ayman
and his teammates as their forward Yattara was shown
a red card just four minutes after the goal.
Starting from the 29th minute, Ayman and
his teammates became one man down and their job became
even harder to get back into the game.
The first half ended in a 1-0 lead for
the homeside and it seemed that the game will end in
a 1-0 defeat for Trabzon. However, Martin managed to
level the score again for the 10 men Trabzon just 5
minutes before the final whistle.
Just a minute later, Paraschiv scored
again for the homeside to get them back in the lead
once again.
The last minute witnessed another sending off for one of Trabzon
players as Cagdas received a red card and the guests became
nine men on he field.
With this result, Trabzon will need a 1-0 win
in the 2nd leg to advance to UEFA cup. It should be noted
that Ayman played the full game in the centre of midfield.
