Ayman Abdelaziz's late assist marked Trabzonspor's
dramatic come-back, as they beat Ahmed Hassan's former
team Besiktas 3-2, despite being two goals down at half
time!

The Egyptian played in the centre of the
park once again and performed brilliantly. He stopped
many Gala attacks, but didn't have enough pace to deny
the winner.
From the start, Ayman put great pressure on the Gala
players, and on an occasion, pressurised twice before
making a superb sliding challenge and playing the ball
to a team-mate.
Both sides tried to get a goal early on but there was
a sense of caution all round. However, when a cross
was played in from the right, Trabzon's defence was
unable to clear the danger and the ball cannoned across
the danger zone before being hit into the net by Arda.
Before the half ended, Ayman produced a superb long
ball deep into the right wing, but Tomas was able to
block the Trabzon attacker conceding a corner.
After the break, Trabzon looked for the equaliser but
former Arsenal centre-back Igor Stepanov's header was
saved after a good cross from Ceyhun. The resulting
corner was dangerous, and after being cleared, was put
back into the box. There, Gala keeper Aykut jumped to
claim the ball
but was put to the ground by Erdinc who was trying to
head in. Though it was a clear foul on the keeper, nothing
was given and Erdinc tapped the ball into the empty
goal.

The tension began, and a knife was thrown in the direction
of the linesman by a Galatasaray fan. But before the game
was over, Gala managed to get the winner. A short corner was
played to Ayhan, and Ayman was the only player to recognise
this danger. However, Ayhan turned away from the Egyptian
in style, put the ball low into the box, where Sasa Ilic made
use of slow defending and scrambled the winner home.
