In the absence of Ayman Abdelaziz Gencler played against Vestel Manisaspor this week. Gencler played perfectly in the match and deservedly won 0-3.

Gencler's new manager Mesut Bakkal and his assistant Bulent Korkmaz (legendary Turkish defender) said after the game, "We've deserved this win."

They confidently added, "We will be climbing to the top half of the table with the Galatasaray match."

Ayman couldn't play because he had collected 4 yellow cards, and so he received an automatic ban. He should be back for the big Gala game, which will witness Korkmaz coaching against the club he played for for years.
