Genclerbirligi played against Erciyesspor in the Turkish Cup Second Round. Ayman Abdelaziz played a full game as his club stumbled with a 4-2 defeat.

The Genclerbirligi fans and board are still disappointed, because the club have scored only two goals so far in the Turkcell Super League, and collected just 4 points.

Despite the fact Erciyesspor were promoted just recently to the Turkcell Super League, they've started their campaign very well, meriting 12 points.

Gencler were very poor in this match and so they lost 4-2. They went 3-0 down before pulling two back, but it was not enough. Ayman was unimpressive, just like his team.

But this match was a step better still, because they scored two goals in this single match .In the Turkcell Super League they only managed two goals in six weeks!

Genclerbirligi, with the help of Ahmed Hassan and Abdelzaher El Saka in the 2002-2003 season, reached the final of the Turkish Cup before losing to Trabzonspor. The next season (2003-2004), with El Saka in their ranks they once again reached the final, and it was Trabzon that lifted the trophy once more in a repeat of the last final. Last season, 2004-2005, they were denied another final finish after losing in the semi-final against Fenerbahce.
