It was not hard to spot that Ayman wasn't impressive in the attacks, but fans felt that he marked Ahmed Hassan very hard with some fouls.

Gencler's best ability is 90 minute-long pressure and forcing attacks with speedy players such as Isaac Promise and Mehmet. But Mehmet and Isaac's finishing was not good enough. Ziya Dogan recognised this, stating, "We need to get a cilinical striker."

Such comments came after Gencler sold their top scorer Youla to Besiktas, where he was reunited with Ahmed Hassan.

When Gencler watched Besiktas' last match they saw that Besiktas are very impressive with the ball. Gencler claim they wanted to stop this attribute by applying pressure on the opponents. Ayman's good pressing locked Ahmed Hassan and limited Besiktas' strikers attacking positions, but the rest of the defensive line couldn't produce this pressure, leading to goals from other Eagles.
