The opening game of the Turkish League sees
Ayman Abdel-Aziz's Genclerbirligi face the champions
Fenerbahce. The club launched a written statement indicating
that they do not fear the giants.

"Fenerbahçe is one of the
big candidates to win the title but we'll bring action
to the league with our new transfers," reads the
club statement.
In reference to the likes of El Saka, they added, "Some
of our best players left the team but we transferred
new players and increased our squad size."
It continued, "We have one of the best managers
in Turkey (Ziya Dogan) so the match will be exciting.
"We lost last
season's match because of referee mistakes. This
season we hope there'll be less mistakes."
Ayman's club officials added, "As Gençlerbirligi
directors we believe and trust in our manager and players.
We know that we'll get 3 points in the first match of
the season.

"In this important match we're waiting for our supporters
at the 19 Mayis (stadium) to support our team."
The two sides have met 64 times, Fenerbahce winning 26 and
Gencler winning in 12 of the encounters. The remaining 26
were ties.
Last season, this same game ended 2-1 to the visiting Fenerbahce,
who also won at home by 3 goals to 2.
Ayman is home to Fener today (Friday) in the opening game
of the season, with the remaining Egyptians playing in the
weekend.
