Ayman Abdelaziz and Abdelzaher El Saka will
not see European action next season, but they finished
in a well-earned 5th place, as they managed to defeat
Gaziantep 2-1 in the final day of the Turkish season,
ending in the 5th spot of the table.

Despite their awful start this season,
Genclerbirligi managed to finish in 5th spot in the
table, just one place away from Ahmed Hassan's Besiktas.
Both Egyptians Abdelzaher El Saka and Ayman Abdelaziz
contributed to the great success of the team in the
2nd half of the season. Gencler already changed three
managers throughout the season but their current coach
Ziya Dogan, Ayman's father-like figure helped the side
to get back on track.
This weekend, Gencler faced Gaziantepspor and managed
to win the home game with 2-1 result. El Saka didn't
feature in the game but the other Egyptian Ayman Abdelaziz
played the full match and showed a solid performance
particularly in defence.

However, the next season may still be tough, with Gencler
losing out on top players in each position, notably Souleymane
Youla, Ali Tandogan and maybe even Abdelzaher El Saka.
