Speatking to ART Sports, Italy manager Marcello Lippi said that El Hadary was the main reason behind the defeat of World Champions at the hands of the Pharaohs.

"We were poor in the first half. But we imporoved in the 2nd half and created many chances but their keeper made some world class saves and denied us from scoring the equalizer".

"I made some changes in the squad to suit the Egyptian style of play but the changes didn't work well". He added.
