In
the match day two of the group A, Spain managed to confirm
their qualification to the semi final after defeating
Iraq by a single goal. On the other match of the group,
South Africa found little resistance from the infoerior
New Zealand and won by two goals to nil.

Group A is free from surprising results
so far. The 2nd match day in the group ended with two
expected results. Spain achieved a narrow 1-0 win over
Iraq while the South African's increased their hopes
of reaching the semi final by beating the hopeless New
Zealand by two goals to nil.
Both results were predictable. However,
Iraq managed to limit Spain chances of scoring with
their ultra defensive tactics while South Africa was
content to scored just two goals against New Zealand.
On Thursday, matches in the group of death
will continue. Egypt was underestimated by Brazil in
the first match but the Pharaohs proved that they are
far from being the underdog of the group.
The Egyptians showed the whole world that
the mighty Brazil can be stopped. However, consistency
is what the Pharaohs need to prove now as playing a
great match against one of the top teams is not enough.

Expectations from the whole world are very high now. Everyone
is waiting to see what the Pharaohs can do against the concrete
Italian defense. A good result and display in that game can
do wonders for the Egyptian team and revive their hopes of
reaching the semi final.
