The Egyptian U20 team
continued their European camp with Stemwede tournament
in Germany, as a part of their preparations for the
Youth World Cup 2009 in Egypt.
The Egyptian youth team won the TUS Stemwede tournament
that took place in Germany, and was awarded Volksbank
Cup title.
The tournament consisted of 8 teams divided into two
groups. Egypt U20 squad were drawn with Werder Bremen
in Group B .
Egypt started the tournament with two goalless draws,
then they achieved a 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen
to qualify to the 2nd round.
In the semi-final Egypt U20 defeated Osnabruck from
Germany, with a 4-5 result after a penalty shoot-out
to qualify to the final round facing Aalborg BK from
Denmark.

Egypt U20 managed to defeat Aalborg BK by 2 goals to nil. The
two goals came in the 3rd and 18th minutes respectively.
It should be noted that Egyptian youngster Mohab Mourad joined
Egypt's camp for the first camp making his international debut
in the final match. Mohab will return to his club Luebeck
and will join the team's camp again in Czech Republic and
Cairo after impressing the manager Miroslav Skob
