Egypt failed to win against Burundi in the ACN away qualifying match. Egypt had some good chances to take the lead in the first half but couldn't score and the 2nd half witnessed the sending off of Ahmed Hassan which made things even more difficult for the Pharaohs.

7th min. Cross from the right wing into the box, Mido tried a header but he couln't touch the ball.

10th min. Cross from the right wing into the box, Zaki tried a volley shot at goal but it went just wide.

14th min. Moteb hit the post! The Egyptian striker took advantage from a mistake from the goalkeeper and tried to bury the ball home but the post denied him.

20th min. The ball was crossed high into the box, Zaki tried a header but he couldn't keep it down.

23rd min. Volley shot from long range went straight into the arms of Hadary.

34th min. Corner kick for Burundi. The cross was made but the header sailed way over the bar.

35th min. Mido crossed low from the left wing to Moteb in the box, the later hit it low with his left but it lacked power and the goalkeeper collected it safely.

38th min. Hadary did well to parry a powerful shot from Sahabani Saidi.

43rd min. Yellow card to Ibrahim Said after a foul just outside the box.

45th min. End of the first half.
