First half:

1st min. Good possession football from Egypt but it ended with Zaki falling onto the ground, no foul given though.

2nd min. Freekick for a foul on Zaki.GOAAAAAALLLLLLL FOR EGYPT!!!! Powerful volley was parried by the keeper , the ball fell to Abotreka who hit the foot of the post with his shot but the ball bounced back to Zidan who fired it low, the goalkeeper could only parry the ball which fell to Zaki who slided it home giving Egypt a much needed early lead.

4th min. Muhammadi crossed into the box from the right wing but the ball was headed clear.

6th min. Freekick for a foul on Zaki in the air. It was played lomng behind the Egyptian defense but Hadary collected it safely.

7th min. Freekick for Zaki after a harsh foul. A chip was played into the box to Zaki but he was caught offside.

9th min. Long balll to Zidan behind the defense, he managed to cross it from the left win but it was headed clear.

10th min. The ball hit the post!!! Another dangerous Egyptian attack was denied by the post, the ball bounced back but it was cleared in the end.

11th min. Freekick in a dangerous position for Zayani after a trip by Hassan. The ball was punched by Hadary but he was fouled in the air and the match referee awarded Egypt a frekick.

12th min. Moawad tried a through pass to Zidan but he was in offside position.

13th min. Muhammadi managed tyo beat his man with pace from the right win but the referee whistled for a freekick for Algeria.

15th min. The Pharaohs kept the ball under their possession but it ended up with a foul for Algeria.

17th min. Freekick to Algeria in a good position. it was headed at goal but Hadary made a great save to turn it behind for a corner.

18th min. Zidan managed to win the ball from his marjker and laiud it to Abotreka in the right wing but the latter played a poor chip shot which went way over.

21st min. Great pass by Muhammadi to Fathy in the right wing, he tried to pick Zaki with the cross but the latter couldn't get to the ball before the Algerian defense.

24th min. Muhammadi tried to lay the ball to Zaki but he was in offside position.

25th min. Freekick for Egypt in the left flank after a foul on Zidan. Abotreka crossed the ball high into the box but the ball was headed clear.

28th min. Brief spell of pressure from Algeria but it ended up with Egypt winning a throw in.

30th min. Zaki gave away possession cheaply and Algeria started a quick counter but it ended up with a foul to Egypt.

32nd min. Algeria started to force the Egyptian team to play the way they want by winning freekicks and corners while the Egyptians keep giving the ball away!

34th min. Another dangerous freekick to Algeria, Belhadj tried a shot from narrow angle but Hadary saved it for a corner. It ended up with a foul for Hadary.

36th min. Egypt win a corner thanks to Zidan's pressure on Matmour. Abotreka crossed high at the near post but the defense headed the ball clear.

39th min. Muhammadi crossed high into the box to find Hommos who tried a header but missed the target.

41st min. Abotreka triued a direct through pass to Zidan but the defense managed to intercept the fine pass.

44th min. Another freekick for Algeria, it was aimed at the near post but headed far away from target.

45th min. Abotreeka tried a one-two pass with Zaki but the defense cleared the situatioin for a throw-in.

45+1 Corner kick for Egypt. It came to nothing though.

45+2 Algeria almost equalized. Again, Muhammadi gave away a freekick and the ball was aimed to the far post, it was headed back into the box to find Antar Yehya who almost scored from a few yards a\out, but Hadary parried the ball away.
