Egyptian star striker Mido made an interview with the Spanish media in which he commented about the latest offer from Roma. His agent also confirmed to Beenhakker that the player doesn’t want to come back under Ronald Koeman’s reign.

“Mido won’t return to Ajax”. This was Spanish Media’s latest confirmation. Christophe Henrotay (Ahmed Hossam’s agent) joined recently Leo Beenhakker (Ajax’ technical director) and explained to him that the player doesn’t want to come back under Ronald Koeman’s orders.

The Egyptian super star is receiving more and more offers from big European clubs. Juventus and Arsenal were the most interested to buy the striker. But the latest surprise was the Italian Roma. The young Pharaoh’s agent declared the existence of the Italian club’s offer, but affirmed that the player didn’t decide until now. Christophe said that “The offer is economically good, but Ajax is not in agreement with the modality of payment that Roma propose, and this complicates the things”.

The agent also declared that Celta Vigo will be the first option. “Mido is enough happy with Celta and we will not listen to anybody else. They welcomed the player in a difficult moment and we must offer them a respect”.

Christophe Henrotay will join Felix Carnero (Celta’s technical secretary) to talk about the possibility for the attacker to continue until next 22 June. “Until now we didn’t fix a date of meeting, but it will surely be next week”.

The Egyptian himself is interested to play under the orders of Fabio Capello (Roma’s coach), “in one of the biggest Italian clubs”, but without closing Celta’s door. Mido explained that “Roma’s offer is very good economically and I heard that I was Capello’s first choice to reinforce the attack, which will grant me enough possibilities to play”.

Otherwise, Mido acknowledged: “I think Celta is also a very big team, and here they treat me very well. I would like to continue here in Vigo, but all will depend on what will be said in the meeting that my agent will have with Felix Carnero”.

The Egyptian also talked about the next La Liga’s special match against Real Madrid. “I really want to play in Bernabeu (Real Madrid official stadium). Real Madrid is the best team in the world, and for that it is a special match”. The striker said that the game will be “difficult” because “it will be played in Madrid”. But “Celta also plays well” and the player dreams to have “a good performance. In the last matches, I wasn’t very good. I played two of them after an injury and in the last one I got a red card. Now I am good and I hope that it is noticed”.

Ahmed Hossam thinks that Celta needs five points to enter the Champions League and stated that Saturday’s objective is “to win or to draw”.
