Hany Said set for Spartak Moscow move

Date: 5-3-2008
Wrote: EP's reporter Ahmad Matar

In a phone call with the Egyptian TV , the Ismaily SC board announced their approval on Hany Said's move to Europe, particularly to Russian champions Spartak Moskow.

Ismaily club spokesman revealed that they received two offers for Hany Said, one from Saint-Etienne and the other is from Spartak Moscow.

Hany's agent declared that the French offer reached a dead end because of a delay from Ismaily's board in replying to the French club. However, the Russian offer is still on.

Spartak Moscow made a bid of $1.2 Million for the international defender.

Hany Said declared that he is happy with the offer and willing to move to the Russian champions as soon as possible.

It should be noted that the transfer window in Russia is still open and Said can move immediately to take part in the Russian league which will start on the 15th of March.

Ismaily SC Board also stated that they aren't willing to block any of their players move to Europe and probably Hosni Abd-Rabo will be the next as he received alot of interest following the ACN. However, he will move in summer and his destination will likely be England.
