Hany Said remained on the substitutes
bench for the entire away game against Salernitana.
Viola lost by a goal to nil, as they conceded after
just five minutes of play. Even though there were changes
in the midfield, Said did not come on.

For the second game running, Hany started
on the bench. In the last match he came on, but this
time it was a different case.
Longo and De Angelic were able to assist their team-mate
Tulli, who scored the early goal for Salernitana on
five minutes. He finished a low cross from close range.
After this, Goalkeeper Botticella of Salernitana made
some great saves to deny the equaliser. The home team
struck on the counter-attack and managed to hit the
bar later on.
In stoppage time, Riganò thought he'd equalised
for Fiorentina, but the referee said that the ball did
not go past the goal-line. The striker's header was
cleared off the line by Breda, but it appeared to most
people that it had gone past for a goal!
Fiorentina didn't manage to equalise, and the early
goal ended up costing them the match. It was a shock
win for Salernitana, who won their first home game for
seven months on this occasion! Final score: Salernitana
1-0 Fiorentina.
