Hani Said's Bari will meet Lazio
in the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup after their
shock win over Inter Milan in the last 16 round. This
will prove a hard battle, but Bari are confident.
The draw was as follows:
Juventus vs. Perugia
Chievo vs. AC Milan
Bari vs. Lazio
Vicenza vs. Roma
After great victories against Udinese
and Inter Milan, Bari will want to continue their great
spell. Lazio, their next opponents, are currently 1
point away from the top of the Serie A table and in
2nd place.
Hani Said may not play because of future international
duties, but it is a great achievement for the club so
far.
Some reports state that Hani is negotiating with Chievo
who have offered him a contract. If he does sign for
the Serie A club then he will still be able to play
in the Cup.
The matches will take place in mid-January and EP wishes
all the best to Hani Said on this campaign.
