Hany Said Injured

Date: 20-10-2002
Wrote: EP's editor Islam Issa with special thanks to EP's partner website, http://www.solobari.it for providing EP with information.

Hani Said's AS Bari played last night away against Siena in Italian Serie B. The Egyptian was the talk of the first half. He played brilliantly and was the best player not only for his team, but on the whole field. He was praised during the first 40 minutes, but suffered an injury just before the interval.

The match ended 1-1. Both goals were in the first half, the first a dubious penalty by Siena's Pinga in the opening minutes. Then Anaclerio equalised for the visitors Bari.

Hani Said suffered the injury because of a rough tackle by Tiribocchi. He took Hani's feet. This adds to Bari's injury list of D'Agostino, Mora and Ingrosso. This is bad because they are travelling to Serie A's Udinese in the second leg of the Tim Cup on Wednesday. They are already 4-1 up. Meanwhile, AS Bari are 5th in Serie B.

EP promises to bring more news on Hani's injury. We wish it is not serious, as he seems to be regaining his form.
