Said's Bari crushed Udinese!

Date: 27-9-2002

The situation:

AS Bari have added to their wonderful Tim Cup results so far, with yet another win, this time against Serie A team Udinese. The match ended 4-1 to Hani's side and they are now looking favourites to get through to the quarter finals.

This match was the first leg of the last-16's match. Before it Bari had to defeat lower division teams Cocenza, Crotone and Catania. If Bari survive in Udinese they will reach the last 8 to play teams like Juventus, Roma, Lazio and the rest of the giants.

Hani may have to meet Juve again

The match:

Bari won 4-1 with goals coming from Candrina, D'Agostino, Anaclerio, and Chukwu. Hani Said had a great match. He played in his natural position, central midfielder. This is according to Bari who think he is a midfielder, while the majority of Egyptians expect him to play in defence. This was his best match so far this season, as he defended very well and kept solid.

Hani's Future:

Hani Said is probably going to start in the next match, Saturday night's important match against Napoli in third week of Serie B. It seems like the Egyptian is making a come-back after his ban and proving his worth. He will stay at Bari by the looks of it, and an interview with him and EP is being arranged for the near future. We wish the player the best as he crawls back...
