Egyptian veteran centre back Hany Ramzy sent a fax
to his old club Al-Ahly asking for the possibility of
his return to the Cairo based club. However, some sources
revealed that Manuel Jose might not welcome the player
at the side.

As EP
reported a few days ago, Hany Ramzy was released
by Kaiserslautern after the expiration of his contract
with the club. The Egyptian spent the whole season struggling
to come back to the green field without luck as his
knee condition didn't look so good.
Hany had told EP in an interview long
time ago that he wants to end his career at his home
club Al-Ahly. The player said that he will return to
Al-Ahly before retiring and play the last season in
his footballing career for Al-Ahly.
However, some inside sources within the club revealed
that the current coach Manuel Jose might not welcome
the return of Hany to Ahly as the coach feels that Ramzy
will not add to the already solid performing Ahly team.

It should be noted that the coming season will be the last
for Hany Ramzy as a player. However, his destination is yet
to be known, it could be Ahly, Al-Wehda club in UAE or at
the worst case, he might announce his retirement from professional
football after his long and prosperous career.
