Ramzy told BBC Sport that he intends to join Al Wahda
and will be traveling to the to negotiate his contract.

Ramzy visited Egypt to attend the unveiling of the
mascot for the 2006 Cup of Nations. He spoke to BBC
sport and declared that his next destination maybe the
Gulf, particularly the UAE team Al-Wahda.
The defender also denied reports that he has officially
retired from football to start a coaching career with
Kaiserslautern.
"I just took permission from coach Kurt Jara to
attend a coaching course in Berlin," Ramzy said.

"After the course, I resumed training with my teammates."
It should be mentioned that Ramzy suffered a knee injury
two years ago and since then, he struggled to come back to
the green field without luck. The Egyptian only played once
for Kaiserslautern's amateurs a few months ago and after that
game, FCK's physiotherapists announced that the return of
the player to professional football is almost impossible.
However, Ramzy denied these reports and said that he still
can play but he has no chance in Kaiserslautern in the current
season.
The Egyptian veteran will likely continue his season in Emirates
as his former teammate and Kaiserslautern's captain Mario
Basler did two years ago.
