Egyptian veteran centre back Hany Ramzy will unlikely
return back to the green field as a player because of
his knee injury. This was confirmed by Kaiserslautern's
physiotherapists who said that Ramzy's knee is in a
bad shape and it will need a very long time to heal
completely.

The Egyptian veteran suffered a torn hamstring injury
in the season opener back in August 2003 and couldn't
return back to action to date. Ramzy only managed to
play few times with the FCK amatuers team but he never
played any official games in the current or previous
seasons.
German newspaper Kicker reported that Ramzy's recovery
will take much more time than what was expected and
so his return to professional football in almost impossible.

career till the end of 2006 but he will likely continue his
studies and join the national team as an assistant coach and
not as a player.
