Despite Hany Ramzy's long term injury, Kaiserslautern decided to offer him a new contract.

In what can be described as good news for the Egyptians and Hany Ramzy fans, his club Kaiserslautern decided to extend his contract till 30th June 2005. This means that the Egyptian veteran centre back will be able to play another season of professional football with the Red Devils.

Hany injured his knee back in August 2003 and couldn't return to the green field to date. Ramzy already started solo training a while ago but he couldn't start training with the team yet.

It should be mentioned that the new season of Bundesliga will start in a month and hopefully Hany will be able to return to the starting eleven soon...
