Veteran
Egyptian Hany Ramzy, who suffered an unfortunate knee
injury in the first game of the season, is still out
of action as is expected. However, recently, Kaiserslautern
are not on form, and after their latest loss they sunk
into the relegation zone.

Will Ramzy make another return?
Twenty games have been played in the league so far.
More than half of the matches, eleven to be precise,
have been lost by Kaiserslautern. Six have been won,
with three drawn.
Since the winter break, Ramzy's club has played three
matches. The first ended in a win for also struggling
side 1860 Munchen, the game ending 2-1 with all games
coming in the first half. The Kaiserslautern goal came
as an equaliser from Lockvenc, but the opposition still
managed to win.
The second match saw Kaiserslautern win against bottom
placed club. It was an important game for Kaiser, and
they won it at home. On-form Lockvenc scored after 23
minutes of play.
Then Kaiserslautern were away to top place club. Werder
Bremen have a nine point difference between them and
second place Bayern Munich! Kaiser lost 1-0, after a
great game. It was a shame that the goal came in in
stoppage time.
These matches have all been close, but Ramzy's club
are however in the relegation zone now. About three
fifths of the league has been played, and the bottom
half is shown below.
