Hany
Ramzy's Kaiserslautern had an awful start this season.
They lost nearly all their games in the Bundesliga.
As well as this, last season's DFB Pokal runners up
got humbled by an Amatuer side in the first round of
the cup and lost 1-4.

Hany won't see action for several months

Ramzy's replacement:
Egyptian veteran defender Hany Ramzy won't see action with
the Red Devils for several months because of his serious knee
injury. As a result, the club signed Cameroonian international
Lucien Mettomo from Manchester City as a replacement for the
Egyptian centre back.
Moreover, the club trialed a Brazilian defender named Emerson.
However, these attempts to replace the veteran Egyptian Hany
Ramzy weren't successful as the Red Devils continued their
awful league form and suffered a humiliating exit from the
German cup (DFB Pokal) at the hands of an amatuer side by
four goals to one.
Gerets to be sacked?
Following these poor results and the deteriorating form of
Kaiserslautern, the FCK president Rene Jaggi announced that
the days of the current Belgian coach Eric Gerets are numbered
if he couldn't help the side to recover from this form crisis.
It is worth mentioning that Kaiserslautern won only a single
match out of four games against
Cologne and lost the rest of matches. They are currently
at bottom of the table.
EP wishes Ramzy a speedy recovery and to help his side to
regain their form and escape relegation as he did in the last
season.
