Egyptian veteran defender Hany Ramzy excelled once again and scored for Kaiserslautern in their friendly match against 2nd division side Greuther Fürth. The match ended in a 5-4 edgy win for the Red Devils.

Hany Ramzy has been on top form lately as he showed some extraordinary performances in the preseason games. The Egyptian veteran came back strong after his long term knee injury and scored a hat-trick in Kaiserslautern's friendly against ASV Fussgoennheim. As well as this, Ramzy continued to impress in friendlies as he scored the 2nd goal for Kaiserslautern in a nine goals thriller against Greuther Fürth.

Kaiserslautern took the lead early in the game through their star striker Miroslav Klose in the 3rd minute but few minutes later, Greuther Fürth managed to level the score. In the 9th minute, Ramzy shined and headed the ball home from a corner kick to put his team ahead again.

Minutes later, Fürth leveled the score again but not for long as Hristov added the 3rd for Kaiser in the 26th minute.

Before the 2nd of the first half, Kaiser managed to increase the deficit to two goals as Nurmela scored the 4th goal.

In the 2nd half, Lincoln added the 5th from a freekick. Minutes later, Kaiser's coach Eric Gerets made many substitutions to test the rest of the players. Hany Ramzy was among the replaced players and he came off in the 63rd minute.

After Ramzy's exit, Kaiser conceded two goals in the 69th and 86th minutes and the game ended in a 5-4 score.
