Date: 21-4-2003.
Wrote: EP's reporter Khaled Mostafa

After Kaiserslautern's jump back up the table, Hany Ramzy suffered a serious injury in his right knee. EP kept you updated on all the latest news, and now we present an exclusive interview conducted with the Egyptian captain.

Klose and Hany celebrate after his latest goal

KM: First of all from all of the EP team, members and guests we would like to wish you the best of luck and a speed recovery.

HR: Thanks a lot for your kind and nice feelings.

KM: What were your feelings after having such an injury which won't let you play until the end of the season?

HR: I was very sad because I won't be able to participate with the national team especially in the France game. Also I won't be able to participate with Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga as well as in
the German Cup final.

KM: What do you actually feel?

HR: Hard pain in the right knee

Ramzy slotted the ball in his home net

KM: What were your feelings after scoring that own goal?

HR: I was so ashamed but I decided to do anything to save my team, and I was going to score before the equalizer but the ball was saved by the defender.

KM: And what about after scoring the equalizer?

HR: The situation twisted upside down I was so happy and proud.

KM: What about your future plans?

HR: At the moment after the injury I am thinking either to continue my professional career or return back to Al-Ahly then retire. I am nearly 34 years old.

KM: At the end I'd like to thank you C. Ramzy for this short interview with EP...

HR: You're welcome Khaled...
