Ramzy's Manager Sacked

Date: 27-8-2002
Wrote: EP's editor Islam Issa

Hany Ramzy's head coach, Andreas Brehme has been relieved from his position as Kaiserslauten manager. Brehme, who is a World Cup winner as a player, failed to succeed so far this season.

Kaiserslauten failed to go far in the Inter-Toto Cup, and in the league so far, have only got 1 point from 3 matches. Hany Ramzy was not on his best form, and the whole team was under-performing so far this season.

Kaiser will now look for a new manager, and EP wishes that the new coach succeeds and helps Ramzy succeed in this late part of his career.

Ramzy will work with new coach and will miss his friend

Farewell Brehme

The German coach was a personal friend for Ramzy and supported him all the way last season when he was attacked by the press and supporters after his conviction.

It is premature now to predict whether the new coach will let Ramzy be a starter as Brehme did or will he act differently.
