Hany Ramzy played full game with his team Kaiserslautern against Shalke, the game ended 3-1 for the guests (Shalke).

In the first half, The red devils took the lead in the 34th min. of the game, and Shalke played with ten men after Sven Vermant was sent off because of a 2nd yellow card in the 36th min. But in the second half, bad luck combined with lack of concentration played against them and they lost 1-3 in the end.

Ramzy performed well but couldn't help with the result

Match report:

The game was the first home game for Kaiserslautern this season, they drew with Stuttgart last week and collected a single point after the first week.

The game witnessed the return of the veteran defender/midfielder Sforza to the team, and the participation of Riedl and the keeper Koch after their recovery from the injury.

Sforza returned to the Red Devils again

Kaiserslautern had a good start and the attacking duo (Locvenc and Klose) caused some danger at the start, while the pacy Nigerian striker (Victor Agali) was beyond Shalke's danger.

In the 34th min. Riedl opened the score for the Red Devils from a 20 meters shot and everything was going according to the plan.

In the 35th min. of the game, things came even worse for Shalke when Vermant received a 2nd yellow card and was sent off.

After the goal and sending off of Vermant, Kaiserslautern couldn't add more goals before the end of the first half.

In the 2nd half, Jorg Bohme tied the game again and scored the equalizer. After the shocking goal, the home team started to push men forward to take the lead again.

Brehme unhappy after Shalke's first goal

As a versatile player, Hany Ramzy moved forward to support the attack, he played mainly as attacking midfielder and moved occasionally into the area especially in dead ball situations.

In the 55th min. and against the run of play, Victor Agali added the 2nd goal for the guests. Veteran midfielder Andreas Moller moved very well into the right flank and made a high cross into the area, Agali was surrounded by defenders (Lembi & Harry Koch) but he was closer to the ball and headed it past the keeper to make it 1-2 for Shalke.

Kaiserslautern intensified their pressure in order to score the equalizer but they always lacked the final tough despite their continuos pressure.

In the 67th min. In a desperate trial from Andreas Brehme to tie the game again, he replaced the defender Lembi with the attacking left winger Dominguez.

In the 77th min. Shalke made a substitution, Emile Mpenza replaced Victor Agali.

In the 80th min. Hany Ramzy tried one from long range, the shot was deflected and Locvenc tried to make a rebound but the keeper was closer to the ball.

Another real chance came to Kaiserslautern in the 83rd min. from a corner kick. Locvenc headed the ball at goal but the keeper parried it away.

In the last minute of the game, Kaiserslautern seemed to be hit by bad luck again as Jorg Bohme received a through pass in the area, he rounded the keeper and layed it superbly to Sand who placed it calmly into the back of the net to make it 1-3 for Shalke.

Shalke's supporters celebrate after the 3rd goal.

Bottom line: Kaiserslautern lacked concentration in offense and defense today, but Ramzy had a good game in general.
