Egyptian star defender Hany Ramzy won
the 3rd place in the Alpen-Cup with his team Kaiserslautern.
The Red Devils won their game against UEFA cup champions
Feyenoord by a single goal scored in the 15th min. by
Walz.
Hany Ramzy played as sweeper in the
game and performed well in that position. He played
the entire first half and was replaced in the 61st min.
of the game.

Ramzy was replaced by Knavs in the 61st
min.
Kaiserslautern's formation:
Koch; Ramzy (63. Knavs), Gabriel, Klos, Anfang, Riedl,
Reuter, Malz, Bjelica (81. Ratinho), Boskovic (70. Dominguez),
Mifsud (70. Adzic).
The game was typically a preseason friendly game, both
squads weren't 100% fit and both teams lacked some of
their potential stars like Miroslav Klose of Kaiserslautern
and Peirre Van Hoojdonk of Feyenoord.
Good game for Ramzy:
Kaiserslautern played more balanced game than their
Dutch counterpart and caused considerably more danger.
Egyptian star defender played as sweeper today and
as a result, he didn't participate in attack at all
as he was the last man for the Red Devils. But the Egyptian
played well as last man and did exceptionally well in
clearing crosses from the danger zone.
Ramzy was replaced in the 61st min. of the game to
take rest as he played 2 games in 2 successive days
in this tournament.
After this win, Kaiserslautern won the 3rd place while
Feyenoord were ranked 4th. The first and second positions
will be decided after Hamburger SV Vs Fenerbahce match
ends.
