Egyptian star defender Hany Ramzy already started the preseason phase with his club Kaiserslautern. Preparations involved training and friendlies with some amatuer clubs. In the next couple of days, Ramzy and his team mates will travel to Austria to play a friendly tournament with 3 other teams: Feyenoord, Hamburger, and Fenerbahce.

Ramzy prepares for the new season

Kaiserslautern played against some Amatuer squads:

Kaiserslautern already played some friendly test games with amatuer squads (like SV Miesau & VfB Marburg), the Red Devils crushed their first opponent 11-0 and their 2nd opponent 5-2.

A tournament in Innsbruck, Austria:

Kaiserslautern will play in Alpen-Cup (a 4-teams tournament) which includes: Kaiserslautern, Fenerbahce, Hamburger and Feyenoord Rotterdam.

The first match for the Red Devils will be on 17-7-2002 against the Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Ramzy's Kaiserslautern will play in Inter-Toto Cup 3rd round:

Czech representative FK Teplitz will meet Kaiserslautern in the 3rd round of the Inter-Toto Cup on 21-7-2002 and the 2nd leg will be played on 27-7-2002.
