Ramzy scores against Leverkusen

Egypt's star defender Hany Ramzy participated and scored today with his team Kaiserslautern in their home league game against Bayern Leverkusen. Game ended 2-4 for Leverkusen.

Kirsten opened the score for Leverkusen after only 11 seconds, Neuville added the 2nd in the 16th min. Ramzy revived Kaiserslautern's hopes with a goal in the 45th min. of the first half. In the 2nd half Lokvenc equalized for Kaiserslautern but two successive goals by Ballack and Berbatov in the 77th and 86th min. decided the game for the guests.

Kaiserslautern played today against the leaders of Bundesliga this season. Only after eleven seconds from the start Kirsten scored the first goal for Leverkusen which is considered as a new Bundesliga record.

Kaiserslautern started to push men forward in order to level the game again but Oliver Neuville scored the 2nd for the guests in the 16th min.

Leverkusen controlled the game after their two goals, and the red devils scarcely caused danger.

How Hany Ramzy scored:

Kaiserslautern had only a couple of chances before Ramzy scored. Ramzy's teammate Malz had the ball in the area but he couldn't find a way through, so he returned the ball back to Ramzy, Hany took the ball directly with his right into the lower corner at the right of the desperate keeper of Leverkusen making it 1-2 and reviving Kaiserslautern's hopes.

Lokvenc scored the equalizer in the 55th min. of the second half and the score was leveled again.

Kaiserslautern looked the better side after the equalizer and had some good chances. However, a penalty kick destroyed everything.

Michael Ballack converted the penalty and scored the 3rd for Leverkusen in the 77th min.

Kaiserslautern played with all-out-attack style in the last minutes in order to level the game again, but before the end by 4 minutes and from a counter attacking move, Berbatov scored the 4th for Leverkusen.
