In absence of the injured Ahmed Hassan, Anderlecht lost their away match versus Standard Liege by two goals to nil. The defeat meant that Liege will be the new Belgian Jupiler league champions.

Hassan missed th match because of injury

Ahmed Hassan's Anderlecht lost the league title to Standard Liege. The new champions were crowned on Sunday after defeating the Mauves by two goals to nil.

Both goals came in the 2nd half and both came through Mbokani, the former Anderlecht striker.

Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan was absent from the game due to his rib injury. the Egyptian should be able to resume training within a few days though and could be able to participate in next week's game.
