Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan is preparing to conclude his long footballing career in Europe. He decided to join Al-Ahly at end of season and his days at Anderlecht are counted.

It is clear that Hassan is not enjoying playing for Anderlecht at the time being. This may be attributed to the lack of understanding between him and the coach Ariel Jacobs.

The current Anderlecht manager put Hassan on the bench in the last league match versus Cercle Brugge. He only gave the Egyptian the chance in the 88th minute and the Egyptian didn't appreciate his very late introduction to the game.

Hassan told the press that such late introduction in the game is an insult for his career as a big player for the club.

It should be noted that the Egyptian is under pressure since the ACN after his late arrival as the press kept linking between his form and the club inability to defend their title this season.

Hassan also lost his place in the starting line up, but he managed to reply to his critics on the field as he helped Anderlecht to win against Bayern Munich, Roesalere and Germinal.

It seems that Ariel Jacobs realized that Hassan won't be in his plans for next season so he started not to build his plans around the Egyptian.

It also worth mentioning that Hassan might not be able to play in the upcoming match versus Westerlo because of a minor injury. However, the Egyptian is expected to play in the midweek fixture in the Belgian cup.
