Ahmed Hassan continued to score and win
games for Anderlecht as he scored the opening goal for
the Mauves in tonight's home match versus Roesalere
which ended in a 5-0 win.
Just a few minutes after the kick off,
Hassan made a great key pass on the volley to Pieroni
but the latter missed the target.
Minutes later, Pieroni crossed the ball
from the left wing to be parried by the goalkeeper and
find Hassan who slotted it home to give Anderlecht the
lead.
Hassan continued to impress and crossed
the ball superbly from the left wing to Pieroni but
the latter headed just wide.
Minutes later, Anderlecht doubled their
lead when Pieroni made a great first touch to beat his
man and sent a through pass to the onside Boussouffa
who found the net and made the score 2-0.
Hassan was involved in the making of the
3rd goal which came through Legaar. The Egyptian sent
a terrific through pass down the left flank to Boussouffa
who crossed low in front of goal, the ball bounced off
a couple of Roesalere defenders and went to Legaar who
fired it home to make the score 3-0.
In the 2nd half, Hassan almost added another goal after a
fine cross from Boussouffa from the left wing but the goalkeeper
managed to stop Hassan's attempt.
Boussouffa continued to impress and crossed
from the left wing to find Pieroni who was left with a simple
finish and added the 4th goal.
After the 4th goal, Hassan came off and was
applauded by the whole stadium who kept chanting Hassan's
name.
Minutes after Hassan's exit, Pieroni scored
the 5th goal which came after a fine pass from the left wing
to Pieroni who fired it home to end the game in a 5-0 win
which put Anderlecht in the 4th spot in the table.
