Last season this match was the most important game of the Belgian League. The clash between the two best clubs in the country. Yesterday it was the only between a candidate for a UEFA Cup ticket (Anderlecht) and a team in the middle of the table (Genk).

Ahmed Hassan sat on the bench at start but he came on with only six minutes left and was cheered by the whole crowd as he came on.

Anderlecht were already ahead after less than three minutes. long ball was played by Van Damme to Vlcek to score the early goal. It was a dream start for the Mauves, however, it brought a lot from the visitors and they began to be dangerous .

The game saw the the 17-year-old Benteke making his debut, while key players like Matoukou, Bosnjak and Itzakhi didn't see any action during the game. The performance wasn't great from Anderlecht side because of the absence of many key players.

Anderlecht have to look for a better performance against Bayern Munich next week. The upcoming UEFA cup clash with the German giants won't be an easy mission for the mauves.
