Hassan's Anderlecht were unfortunate to lose their away match versus Sint-Truiden. The Mauves were leading the game by three goals to two but conceded two late goals because of defensive errors and the game ended in a 4-3 loss which put Anderlecht further away from defending their title.

Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan played a very good match and did his best to help his struggling side. The Egyptian scored the equalizer for Andrlecht while they were behind by a goal and scored the third goal for Anderlecht as well from a penalty kick.

Sin-Truiden shocked Anderlecht by a goal as Peeters fired the ball home from close range in the 25th minute. However, Ahmed Hassan equalized from a fine volley shot after a corner kick from the right wing in the 29th minute.

Just a couple of minutes later, Van Damme scored from a another corner kick as he sent the ball with his body into the back of the net.

In the 38th minute Houdt sent an unstoppable shot into the top corner and Zitka could do nothing about it.

A minute before half time, Hassan was brought down inside the area and the referee pointed to the spot. The Egyptian scored from the spot as he sent his shot into the top corner to make the score 2-3.

In the 2nd half, Anderlecht wasted many chances by Legaar and Thereo in particular. On the other hand, Sin-Truiden were fortunate to score from two late chances in the 85th and 90th minutes respectively to end the game in a 3-4 defeat for Hassan's side.
