Ahmed Hassan's Anderlecht made a comeback to rescue
a point from Rosalere. The Mauves faced Rosalere in
an away match and went behind by two goals. However,
Polak scored a goal in the 2nd half and Frutos equalized
later on from a penalty kick to end the game in a draw.
Anderlecht were on the verge of suffering their second
defeat in the Belgian league as they went behind by
two goals without reply. However, the Mauves managed
to end the game in a draw as Polak scored in the 80th
minute to bring Anderlecht back to the game while the
equalizer came through the Argentinean striker Frutos
who scored in the 89th minute from a disputed penalty
kick.
Egyptian midfielder Ahmed Hassan played the full match
and did well. However, he couldn't help the Mauves emerge
victorious and the side fell to the 6th spot in the
table which is led by Standard Liege.
It should be noted that Anderlecht are suffering from
fluctuations in their form lately which made them waste
four points in two away draws and three points after
their home defeat last week.
Hassan's side will take advantage of the international break
next week in order to fix their mistakes and will hopefully
get back on form right after the break.
More on Hassan soon...
