Hassan Rested As Anderlecht Lose To Dortmund

Anderlecht ended the OBI-cup in the 4th and last position after their 2nd loss in the tournament. Hassan's side lost by two goals to one to the Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

Anderlecht lost their first match in the OBI-cup to Galatasaray a few days ago. Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan played thee full match and so, he was rested in the 2nd match.

The two sides who lost their first game (Anderlecht and Dortmund) faced each other yesterday to decide the winner of the 3rd place in the tournament.

Hassan's side lost again to German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund by two goals to one and ended 4th in the competition.

 


The Mauves opened the score in the 52 minute, but Dortmund equalised in the 62nd minute and scored the winner in the last minute of the game.
