Hassan Scores As Anderlecht Crush Beveren 8-1!

Anderlecht continued racing for the title and managed to stay on top after their impressive win over Beveren by eight goals to one. Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan played from the start and added the 6th goal from a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.

Ahmed Hassan played an excellent game versus Beveren. The game ended in an easy yet resounding 8-1 win for the home side. Hassan created many chances for his teammates, assisted three goals with his accurate passes and also won and scored a penalty kick for his side.

Beveren couldn't challenge Anderlecht much as they conceded an early goal in the first minute and after it, goals came from all angles. The guests played the game without their main goalkeeper and their young goalkeeper Giacomi wasn't experienced enough to face a side with the weight of Anderlecht.

The Mauves took the lead in the first minute through Frutos who scored after a cross from Boussouffa. Hassan was involved in the making of thos goal as he sent the ball to the Morroccan and the latter centered it to the Argentinean Frutos.

In the 33rd minute, Hassan shone again and assisted the 2nd gal when he crossed the ball to Bousouffa insde the box and the latter headed it home to make the score 2-0.

A minute before half-time, Hassan found Boussoufa once again with a clever pass and the latter made no mistake and scored the 3rd goal.

Seven minutes after the kick off of the 2nd half, Boussoufa added his 3rd in the match and the 4th goal for the Mauves. However, the guests managed to claw a goal back in the 75th minute from a well taken freekick that left the goalkeeper Zitka with no chance.


After this goal, Anderlecht continued their pressure and Ahmed Hassan assisted for the 3rd time when he sent a clever through pass to Mbokani who faced the keeper and scored the 5th goal.

In the 83rd minute, Hassan controlled the ball inside the box and tried to beat his marker but the latter brought him down in the area and the referee whistled for a penalty kick for Andelecth. Hsassan scored confidently from the spot to make the score 6-1.

In the final minutes of the game, Mbokani added two more goals from a healder and a one on one situation with the goalkeeper to end the game in a 8-1 win.

This victory put Anderlecht back in the top spot of the table and ahead by two points of Genk who also won their away match on Saturday.
