Brilliant Hassan Scores Twice as Anderlecht Crush Genk 6-0!

Ahmed Hassan helped Anderlecht achieve an amazing 6-0 victory over Racing Genk in Cup quarter Final Hassan scored a fantastic 3rd goal, assisted the 5th and scored the 6th goal as well. The Egyptian 3rd goal is a must see for all fans as it came from an intelligent chip over the keeper from 30 yards!

Just a few days after the draw between Racing Genk and Anderlecht in the league, both sides clashed again in the quarter finals round of the Belgian cup.

This time, the match was at home of the Mauves and the result was a stunning 6-0 win for Anderlecht.

Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan kept his stellar form for another game as he scored twice and assisted another goal as well.

Hassan's first goal in the game was one of the best goals in his career as he made a superb chip from all of 30 yeards to beat the goalkeeper who was out of his net.

The Egyptian played the full ninety minuytes and almost scored early on when Frutos passed the ball to him on the floor to find the Egyptian in front of goal, Hassan sent the ball home into the empty net but the referee's assistant had his flag up there for offside and the goal was cancelled.

It took the Mauves 21 minutes to get on the lead as Max von Schlebrügge headed home from close range after a cross from the left wing. he ball came off a defender and changed its direction to beat the goalkeeper of Genk and to make the score 1-0 for Anderlecht.

The first half ended in a 1-0 lead for Anderlecht who managed to double their lead early on in the 2nd half when Frutos was fouled by the goalkeeper Sinan Bolat inside the box, the match referee pointed to the spot and showed the goalkeeper the red card for the professional foul. Frutos was the penalty taker and he scored to make the score 2-0 for the Mauves in the 47th minute.


Just a couple of minutes from the 2nd goal, Hassan scored his great goal from whole of 3o yards. The Egyptian got the ball in the right flank and spotted the goalkeeper outside his net so he sent a brilliant chip that went into the back of the net to make the score 3-0.

In the 60th minut, Mohamed Tchite came on to replace the Argentinean striker Frutos and the Congolese forward managed to score twice after he came on.

The first goal for Tchite came on in the 78th minute when he headed the ball home from close range after a cross from the right wing.

Two minutes later, Anderlecht won a freekick and it was played short to Ahmed Hassan in the left side of the box, the Egyptian laid the ball superbly to Tchite who buried it home to make the score 5-0.

In the 87th minute, Hassan scored the 6th goal for the Mauves when he received a through pass and powered a low shot that was deflected home by the goalkeeper.

With this win, Anderlecht qualified to the semi finals of the Belgian cup competition.
