Hassan Helps Anderlecht Beat Germinal 3-1

Ahmed Hassan played 87 minutes for Anderlecht and helped the Mauves achieve a 3-1 away victory over Germinal on Sunday.

Anderlecht faced Germinal Beerschot on Sunday night and Hassan's side managed to end the game in a 1-3 away win. Hassan played from the start and was replaced three minutes before the final whistle.

Anderlecht ended the first half in a 0-1 lead which came through Mohamed Tchite who scored just before the break.

After the goal, the referee awarded Germinal a penalty kick and the homeside had a golden chance to level the score but the man of the match, Zitka managed to save the spot kick and the score remained 0-1.

Five minutes after the half time, Tchite shone once more and added the 2nd for the Mauves but the homeside managed to claw a goal back in the 72nd minute.


In the 82nd minute, Anderlecht's new signing Marcin Wasilewski scored thee 3rd goal.

In the 87th minute, Vanden Borre came on to replace Hassan and the score remained 1-3 till the final whsitle.

It should be noted that Hassan received a yeallow card after eight minutes from the kick off after a foul.
