Second Half Action for Hassan as Anderlecht Win in Cup

Anderlecht achieved an easy win over the 2nd division side FC Dender and qualified to the quarter finals. Hassan didn't start but he came on in the 2nd half to help his side in the game that ended in a 5-2 win for the Mauves.

The guests started well and scored an early goal in the 11th minute but Boussoufa managed to level the score two minutes later. The 2nd division side was the better side but they couldn't convert and instead, the more experienced Anderlecht players managed to score twice in the first half through Mpenza and rutos in the 22nd and 43rd minutes respectively to end the first 45 minutes in a 3-1 lead for Anderlecht.

In the 69th minute, Frutos added another goal for Anderlechtand scored their 2nd but they never looked strong enough to get back into the game.

In the 78th miunute, Boussoufa added another goal for the Mauves to ensure their qualification to next round in cup and to end the game in a 5-2 win.

Egyptian star Ahmed Hassan saw 35 minutes of action as he replaced the striker Mpenza in the 65th minute of the game.
